This generative study examined the mechanisms at play in making the Athenian urban core more pedestrian-friendly to allow for resident mobility in the Kypselis neighborhood of Athens.
Onsite research methodologies included traffic survey, pedestrian interview, and transit data analysis.
The work was produced during a collaboration between University of Toronto and University of Patras students taking part in a summer studio abroad.
Collaborators included Jana Rumjanceva, Joanna Magafa, and Maria Leon; the work was completed under the guidance of Profs. Petros Babasikas, Demetra Katsota, and Konstantinos Petrakos.
